Three major survey projects are described in these pages. As with the excavations they were projects I directed or supervised apart from the Fenland Project. My role on the fieldwalking survey was as a ceramic and lithic specialist. Before the Fenland Project started I carried out a pilot survey in Billingborough.

Other major surveys were the Humber Wetland Project and the North Lincolnshire Transect Survey. These are referenced in the Bibliography.
